she's doing theater residencies in NY, LA and Chicago; you have to sign up ahead of time and put your credit card info in but it won't be charged ahead of time haha

 

I somehow miraculously got Brooklyn tickets but also somehow it's $52 but with fees it's $80 lol

 

y'all this is the best madonna album in aaaaaaaages

 

what a pleasant surprise she still makes excellent house music

 

On my first listen and damn, the beat change in God Control blew me away. What a song

 

This is up there with the top half of her discography. Such a diverse, creative and at times weird (idk how I feel about Dark Ballet yet) body of work.

In terms of art as political performance piece it was Janelle Monáe level, I wish there was more that and less I love Portugal, which still good

Also I understand artistically why True Blue is the oldest album she touches but her first few got bangers

 

the s/t is pretty much all bangers but madonna's voice as a songwriter really formed on true blue

So her shows are starting at 10:30PM and go until about 1:00AM. All the Chicago shows are on weekdays or Sunday, I wonder how the turnout is going to be with such a late start and end time.
