Seems like maybe it’s billed as a solo Madlib record? Wonder how much Four Tet we’ll actually hear in the sound. So curious to hear how this turned out no matter what.
The gist I got was it was to start out as a Madlib solo record, but Four Tet convinced him to collaborate more. I think. Guess we'll know more when we here it tomorrow!
Surprised it's seemingly being billed as a Madlib solo album. I know he's a big name, but having Four Tet's name more prominently featured would help it get more eyes and ears on it. Not complaining though, could be AOTY material.
Track is great. I really liked that new Four Tet record but definitely haven’t gone back to it as much as I should’ve. This is a wonderful pairing though
January 29th - no confirmation but I've seen it floating around and would make sense given if it was any earlier they surely would have announced by now.
