a few years ago I picked up a used copy of daredevil on bluray and thought yeah I'll give this a shot, I didn't see it when it came out and i had heard it was terrible but whatever it was like $6

bad movie, didn't finish it

 

Was it the Director's Cut? I've heard that's better.

 

I honestly don't remember, I traded it back in to a used movie store here (along with a ton of other stuff that I probably regret) when I moved a couple of years ago

 

it’s been a few years since i’ve rewatched it but i always have fun with daredevil

 

we can't have anything nice

 

we have nobody to blame but ourselves

 

My hot take is that I find Elektra more interesting than Daredevil, even though it’s worse and has less going for it. I like that Elektra feels like a cheap, bad made-for-TV movie. I didn’t finish it last time I checked it out, but I’d probably still throw it on in the background sooner than Daredevil.

I do hope that Daredevil is the costar of the next Spider-Man film like everyone’s saying, and that they get Drew Goddard or someone similar to direct it.

 

i liked this more measured reaction from people i trust more than most of who i’ve seen speak on MW already

 

This movie is getting raked over the coals online

They really need to fix their whole live action spider verse department because this always looked bad and it turns out it is bad just like 95% of the other movies

 

How do people that have a writing track record such as that still have a job writing films? Seems counterintuitive
