Fat Betty was such a silly storyline. The show struggled to find much to do with her after Don was on his own.
@spiffa0 , do you have any favorite characters so far? There's one in particular who I'm excited to see how you feel about as you continue through the end of the show, but don't want to say exactly in fear of spoiling or setting up expectations or something...
I like Peggy and Joan the most probably. They are both overcoming a male dominated society and industry despite all the attempts to break them down and the horrible sexism they have to endure every day. They aren't without their faults, but most of the other characters are such terrible people it's hard to root for them. I also like Sally's progression through the show and how she's becoming more independent. And of course I like Don as a character on the show, but he's such a bad person I don't really root for him.
After a couple rewatches, Tomorrowland may be my fav episode. Idk how popular of an opinion it is but wow just so much happens and its so well done. It's also one of those rare episodes where Don comes off like a good father and has great interaction with his kids.
This show makes me howl with laughter so often. And it’s mostly the sassy comments, not even the straight up jokes. Love it.
I’m not gonna get into details because of spoilers but “Commissions and Fees” is definitely one of the best episodes of the whole series. And the final shots of “The Phantom” are incredible.
