Mad Max: Fury Road Movie

Mad Max: Fury Road is a 2015 film directed by George Miller and is the fourth in the Mad Max series.
The movie stars Tom Hardy as Max, Charlize Theron as Furiosa, and Nicholas Hoult as Nux (among many others)

 

seriously one of my favorite movies. re watching rn and i just want more films with this level of well choreographed action.

 

Isn't there going to be a black and white edition released at some point?

 

maybe! i'm not sure, there's not much news on that front

Incredible movie. I would have loved if it won Best Picture.

Honestly, why is there an need for this? It looks fantastic as is. Can't imagine a black and white version being any better.

 

Miller said that b&w is his definitive version of the film. sometimes it just has a different effect than full color!

Yeah, I think I saw it four times in the theater -- definitely a few more when I bought it.

Idk, the colors were so vibrant in Fury Road that I think it wouldn't be as appealing.

Pretty much how I feel. I'd definitely watch the Black and White version just because I'm always down to watch this, but I think the color version looks way better (at least based off that trailer)

 

If I'm going to watch a black and white version of this, it's going to be George Miller's work, not a fan edit.

Is there official footage of the black and chrome released? I saw some black and white footage before but I believe it was fanmade?

 

Yeah there's much more to black and white film than just turning the color off. Would love to see how it turns out.
