The album features reggae, ska, and dancehall covers of 12 songs, hand-picked by Fat Mike, who produced the record. Today they’ve shared their cover of Green Day’s “She” and pre-orders are now up. Didn't see this coming at all, but I love the concept... And there's no way this doesn't become the soundtrack to my summer with that track list. Hah. I can place all of the songs but one. Does anyone know who does "AM" originally? I'd put money on it being in my iTunes library somewhere, but I can't place it right now...
Figured it out: It's a Tony Sly song! And the Mad Caddies already covered it. I feel silly for forgetting that.
Pleasant surprise! I like their punk rock songs (Rock the plank album era) better than their reggae stuff though.
Super excited. There's only one album by Mad Caddies I didn't like so I have high hopes for these covers.
