Never thought I would be an MGK fan but these pop punk songs are catchy. I dig it.

His vocal style is super Tom-like on this track.

Where were all these good pop punk songs when he opened up for FOB.....

 

If years ago we had to bet and predict who would save pop punk in 2020, Travis would've been a safe bet, MGK not so much, lol.. Everything so far which he has released has been fantastic. I'm really looking forward to the full album.

 

I would take Tom and MGK or Matt over Mark at this point lol. Mark can play bass but his vocal style has been missing the mark over the last 2 releases for the most part.

 

I do miss Mark's urgency in his vocals (Online Songs, Dammit, Party Song, Go, and countless others). He sings a lot of lower register stuff these days and I personally am not the biggest fan of his lower register.

 

In the ongoing twists of 2020, MGK continues to release the best pop punk songs of the year
