New song weirdly gives me some Tame Impala vibes. Something about the vocals and that main synth line.

 

Played two more new songs on KCRW today. "Moonlight on the River" is another top five imo

 

The synthy half of this album is amazing. Always my favorite stuff of his. I'm a sucker for that analog sound.

Also maybe I just think too highly of Currents but I'm not really getting that vibe. Good song tho

 

Different tone but similar structure to what Kevin was doing with the synths on Currents.

 

I love the synth stuff mac does.

If this is out there then I don't feel as bad saying this could be my favorite Mac album. More synth than ever and it feels like he's maturing both sonically and lyrically. Gonna be a perfect summer album.

 

Yep I like this a whole lot more than Another One.
