2017 blows so far but at least the art is nice definitely reminds me of neil young, the same way some tracks on 2 did interestingly enough. I prefer "This Old Dog" because of the steel guitar haha
Damn, there was a new song on Reddit this morning but it was taken down before I could catch it. Anyone else hear it?
Mac DeMarco Filmed Porn in Front of Minors (and Me) | Standard Criteria This is a little sketchy and has always held me back from listening to his work that much, not saying it should do the same for any of you but its worth a read for any fans just to know as it'll likely come up more around release time
Yeah, that's something I've been thinking about and wrestling with since I first read that piece. I still don't have an answer; it's a lot of back and forth in my mind about how I treat my faves vs. other artists, what his music has done for me, where I draw the line, stupid shit my friends did in high school, etc. It's a very difficult but important thing to consider as a fan. Honestly still going to listen to the album, but that situation is definitely fucked up and I wouldn't blame others for not supporting him.
Also, Hot Ones is a great series and my friends and I are replicating it for our Coachella party this year
