Really cool to see M3gan get nominated for best actress. Didn't think it'd ever happen

 

A retroactive nomination for La Roux’s “Bulletproof”? We love to see it.

 

This was fun, but the you pretty much know everything you're getting into from the trailer. Needed more absurdity like M3GAN playing "Toy Soldiers" on piano and lines like

"...because you killed people!"
"Oh big whoop."

 

Thought this was pretty great. This was the perfect tone and perfect way to go about this. If it was a 100% comedy, it would have been lame. If it was just another Chucky, it would have been cliche.

It really felt like its own thing and I appreciate that


Now could it have used like 2 more deaths and would a R rating maybe taken this movie to all time great status? Probably. But I had a great time.

The whole thing felt a bit tepid or underbaked to me. I definitely enjoyed watching it, but I didn’t find it particularly memorable.

I’ll def give this a rewatch with the unrated version, hope it’s better

 

This was pretty good, and quite timely considering how much AI has been in the news recently.

The scene where Kurt is taking some of the M3GAN files seemed like it was from a corporate espionage subplot that got cut, but that scene stayed in just to have the "Pornhubbing at the office" joke.

 

Watching the unrated version and so far the only differences I've noticed is fuck has been said like 5 times already lol

Edit: The ear scene has some gore and the elevator scene has a lot more blood in it haha

 

I watched the unrated version on peacock and assumed this was rated R in theaters. I really enjoyed this. M3GAN rules, that young boy tho? fuck em, M3GAN saved the day. Excited for more of these

 

Absolutely loved this. Watched the unrated version on Prime and my wife and I had a ball.

 

Need to rewatch but try the unrated version because the PG-13 one was whatever to me.

 

FWIW, the only differences are more blood with Ronny Cheing and his assistant's deaths and more F bombs.

 

as well as the neighbors death (you literally see her skin being pressure washed off) and the douchebag kids death is farrrrr more violent
