This was pretty good, kind of exactly what I expected.

    PG-13? What a ripoff.

I am curious how this story unfolds compared to the Child's Play reboot, since they both deal with more technological dolls for children.

Are there any legit scares in this? Or does the PG-13 rating hamper it?

It is supposedly more of a comedy.

No but really I've got tickets for 5:30 Saturday but as of right now looks like only 10 seats reserved out of about 110

it’s definitely not that high on gore or scares (beyond some jumps) if that’s what you’re afraid of. but it’s also not quite the thing my folks would’ve taken me to at that age.

Would this have been better with an R rating? Probably. Did I still really enjoy this? I sure did.

This was very entertaining. The use of ”Titanium” came out of nowhere and got me real good.

This was super goofy. The actor playing the boss was making some choices with his line delivery. I did love Chekhov’s Robot. Too bad his dumb ass slipped on some doll legs.

Friendly reminder that PG-13 horror can be good, even GREAT.

I wonder if this was meant to be R. It’s pretty obvious they cut out an f-word when the boss is walking down the hall, he says how he “Wants a ff(hard cut) doll.” Then the big Megan dance happens.

Generally pretty funny but the gulf between the jokes in this movie that land and the ones that don't is vast. "It's insane, right??" and the cop going "I'm sorry I shouldn't have laughed at that" had my crowd in stitches, "get me a kombucha" was a total flop
