Song is awesome. $35 for a vinyl and sweatshirt is stupidly cheap.

Edit: Strong Illuminate vibes on this song. 5 t shirts, a long sleeve, a hoodie, a vinyl, and CD for $110 is ridiculous lol

Every new Lydia album makes me wish he had changed the name after Assailants.

I wish him all the success in the world and of course I'm gonna wait for the full album to judge it, but this song doesn't make me hopeful.

i always feel a ping of disappointment when a new lydia song doesn't sound how i want it to but i love the darker vibes on this song. lyrics and album art are cool too.

The only art of theirs I don’t like is Devil, though that ones unforgivably bad, save for the red/white theme.

    Are we about to kiss?

I like the artwork. The song isn't grabbing me immediately, but maybe there will be others on the record I dig.

Haven't listened yet, but reading in the same thread Illuminate and Imagine Dragons comparisons is strange. Judging by the car commercial soundtrack stuff they've been doing the last few albums, I'd trust the latter more...

The only valid Illuminate comparisons are that Leighton is singing and there is a key melody. It's the same vibe they've been writing since Devil.

  18. This feels like it was announced two months too early.

Because of how many mouths out it is? Seems pretty common anymore, especially given the time needed for vinyl pressing. (My apologies if you meant it for another reason)

  20. No, that's why. I just really dislike these long rollouts. They can wait for the vinyl to be ready if that's what they want, or ship it out later. Not sure how that affects sales, but I doubt it's huge.

This doesn’t sound like illuminate or imagine dragons. And what, they sound like they could be in a car commercial because their newer stuff is poppy and airy? Just curious

It's got some old Lydia quality, but is far to breezy and full of weird samples etc., I still enjoy it though.
