He said on his stream today that he's going to keep adding songs to the tape depending on how people feel about him doing this sound, he has enough for a full mixtape recorded but if people aren't into it he's not going to bother

They won't be on totally new releases, he's just going to put more songs on the tracklist for this

 

I absolutely believe Lupe can put out another masterpiece. DROGAS Wave is his best so far and I really dug the HOUSE ep he released last year.

 

I just hope it isn't 2 hours long again

 

Apparently just 10 songs unless he added some since he said that. I can't fucking wait, Wave is one of his all time best projects and I've been really anticipating how he'll follow it up

 

I'll take two hours, tbh.

 

Yeah Wave might be the longest album where I would make zero cuts

 

No one posted AUTOBOTO in here previously, but now there's two new singles

Trying to avoid all the singles because it's so short and coming out so soon haha. Can't fucking wait for this though

Only recently started listening to Lupe but I'm hooked. Tetsuo & Youth and Drogas Wave are incredible, two of the best albums I've listened to recently, and I'm really liking the new album too. He can rap his ass off. I found some of the hooks on The Cool quite annoying (the hook on "Go Go Gadget flow" is incredibly irritating) and Lasers was hard to get through but other than that I'm really enjoying his discography. I've been missing out!

 

Man is a living legend. F&L, The Cool, T&Y, DROGAS, and the new album all rule. DROGAS Lite is also fun.

 

apropos of nothing but I truly think WAV Files is one of the best songs I've heard in any genre. leaves me in awe every time

 

I've said it before but I think Drogas Wave is the most consistent album of its length that I've ever heard. It's 1 hour and 50 minutes and I can't think of a single second of it that I would remove

The new album is amazing too by the way. I have absolutely LOVED this act 2 of Lupe

 

I could do without Imagine and the chorus of Down lol, that's about it

 

Haven't really gotten into the new album so much at this point. It's not the sprawling diversity of the last few, but also doesn't have the hooks that his shorter non-conceptual albums usually have, so it kinda all blends together for me

 

See I think it's perfect and easily his best album since The Cool. The conciseness really works for him. Just pure lyricism, like Pharaoh Height 2/30.

 

Oh my fucking god this is a dream show for me

I really really hope I can make the DC one
