It didn’t end up being stripped back at all, but it was a great show considering the circumstances. Lucy sounded great and seemed to be having a good time. She opened with Triple Dog Dare and bursted out laughing when she hit the “yawning on your couch” line
Got a ticket and am very excited for tomorrow, especially to see Indigo De Souza for the first time too!
The show tonight was so good! Indigo was great and Lucy killed it even laying down on a damn couch. It was super epic to watch. She played Body to Flame for the first time in years because people on Twitter had been bugging her to play it at this show so that was a cool surprise. All in all, a great time. Lucy never fails to disappoint.
she was gr8 tonight! although I was bummed (and I do hate to be that guy) that she only played one song from the debut lotta fun tho despite feeling p bad for her in between songs when she was clearly in pain -- herniated discs are no joke!!
I’ve told people who are completely unbiased regarding Lucy and think she’s impressive for doing this.
Has anyone seen lucy on her current tour? If so, any idea about how long the show is with openers? I'm traveling with my dog (he'll be at the hotel) so just wondering how long I'll be gone for
For our show in Kansas, doors opened at 7 and she was done by 10:45 (No encore, since the couch and all). But I think they also waited for Lucy to start late because the COVID check made the lines long as hell.
Providence/Baltimore shows are postponed, they got another positive COVID test within their touring crew. She really can’t catch a break can she?
Really hoping the UK tour in a few weeks (I have tickets for Leeds) still goes ahead but not that confident given Lucy’s back and now Covid.
Drove all the way to Providence yesterday from NH, and literally found out when we got there and parked :( Hoping all's well and the date get rescheduled
Geez, how rough. First her band tested positive, then the back issue, and now she's tested positive? What an unlucky bunch of tours.
