Nothing says love like a Lucy show on Valentine's Day.

Pumped she’s coming to KS! The venue she booked is so much bigger than the one she booked in early 2019. That was such a good show with Illuminati Hotties playing all her Kiss Yr Frenemies songs and Lucy playing her Historians songs.

To be honest I think Home Video is a step down (musically, not lyrically) from Historians. IH’s new album is a step down as well

 

Thumbs Again is superb

 

Despite being pretty impressed with the back half of this record on my first listen, I rarely had the desire to return. Maybe in time I’ll come around, but Historian is still the record I reach for from her. From an AOTY perspective I’m pretty certain it won’t be top 50 for me :/

Hahah. I definitely used to be the same way. Things changed real quick tho when I got a desk job 5-6 ago and I’ve capped it at 50 ever since. Using a bias sorter tool makes it a lot more fun than tedious in recent years

 

I’d still give Historian the edge at this point, but this might overtake it in time. I’m just a sucker for the heaviness of that record.

 

I still love this record
