Lucky (Harry Dean Stanton, Sept. 29, 2017)

The directorial debut of John Carroll Lynch, Lucky follows the spiritual journey of a 90 year-old atheist, and the quirky characters that inhabit his off-the-map desert town. Having outlived and outsmoked all of his contemporaries, the fiercely independent Lucky finds himself at the precipice of life, thrust into a journey of self-exploration, leading towards that which is so often unattainable: enlightenment.

Starring Harry Dean Stanton, David Lynch, Ron Livingston, Ed Begley Jr., and Tom Skerritt

I believe this had its premiere at a festival earlier this year and goes wide this month.

 

Looks like fun to me, I'm in. Glad he got to make and finish this before his passing -- hopefully gets him some extra well-deserved recognition and praise.
