oh you bet. I'm at the back of the venue and that bit in Days Like These (you know the one) kicked me in the chest.

Mimi Parker's bass drum has been known to kill a person at close range, proceed with caution

 

fucking hell they were GREAT. basically the entire new album, straight into a back catalogue set and a two-song encore. 20 songs in all.

 

Saw them a few weeks ago in dc and we surprisingly didn’t need earplugs. Seated show at miracle theater that was built in 1909. It was loud but at the same time you could hear each step on pedals and stage floorboards creaking.
