this album is VERY GOOD

This has leaked. I will refrain from saying more for now except that it fuckin whips as you'd expect

 

ugh that sucks - feel like the last one did so too

 

For some reason their stuff often leaks early - The Invisible Way leaked before it even had cover art!

 

wow how did that happen

 

but this is easily one of my favorite albums of the year which is not surprising

 

I will say that I feel like "Disarray" signposted a major chunk of the approach this time around, and if "The Price You Pay" is serving that purpose here then holy hell I am ready for that record too.

 

For anyone who hasn’t listened to the leak, new song is up on streaming.

 

Wow. I’m going to love this record. Sounds massive.

 

Love how this just sounds like it'll disintegrate at any moment.

Low Still Don’t Sound Like Anyone Else

Meant to share this last week, but it’s worth a read if Low is your thing. This sheds some light on the inspiration for their recent sonic direction and (a surprise to me) their Mormon faith.

It’s easily a top 10 record for me in 2021

 

Things We Lost in the Fire is the one for me. But HEY WHAT could definitely end up being the one.
