Just finished the date episode and loved it. I had to pause several times at first because i was so embarrassed for both mickey and gus, but it was so good. Only thing i had a problem with was what Gus said to Mickey near the end about him not liking being pawned out to some other girl. This was the third time Mickey and Gus saw each other, but Gus told Mickey that she knew he liked her and was just messing around with him. The first time they met they were high, the second time (and the time mickey set up the date), she was drunk. So it just seems to me that Gus right now is a nice guy but that is way too overly sensitive and has unrealistic expectations for everyone else. Which could be the point of it all
He has a lot of those problems but I think within the context of the show the point is the growth of both characters
Just finished the Magic episode, and I'm really disliking Gus more and more as a person as it goes on. I'm loving the show though
I finally got around to watching this. Just finished season 1 and I reeeeaaallly liked it. But yeah, as others have said, Gus is definitely one of those "nice guy"s, and he pisses me off so much towards the end there. I wanted to punch him in the writer's room lol
if this wraps as strongly as it almost certainly will, it’ll be one of my favorite shows of the decade. i recognize that it’s not “prestige TV” but it has resonated with me like crazy.
I hated This Is 40, I got so bored that I shut it off after an hour. But, I love this show and am so bummed it's ending.
