6 episodes into Season 2...so good. So much better than the 1st season, which I already thought was great.
I was questioning my decision to watch season 2 until I heard the theme song for While You Were Sleeping, and now I feel my life has been made.
Both of these characters are unbearably weak and misguided. They suck in so many ways. And I thoroughly enjoy it.
Yep also just finished. Loved how they went against expectations, and didn't have a confrontation with Gus/Dustin . Bring on s3
Just finished season 2 as well. I absoluely loved season 1. I kinda sorta, I guess maybe, loved season 2. I really enjoyed the second half of the season much more than the first.
Really enjoyed this season. Very poignant at times with where I've been in life since the last season. Didn't expect it to end the way it did but this was a great season. Can't wait for next
I hated Gus in S1, hated Mickey in S2. Both characters were absolutely infuriating to watch in the respective seasons.
Definitely didn't feel infuriated towards Mickey at all this season. I felt more infuriated towards Gus again tbh
Have you learned nothing from this show? Mickey doesn't need to be fixed, she needs the space to fix herself.
Or I guess I want to help her fix herself. Even when she's doing dumb or bad shit I just kinda feel bad for her.
I've never once watched an episode this season and thought Mickey was just doing "dumb/bad shit." She's a lot more complex of a character that people in here are giving her credit for. Also, the idea of "I want to help her fix herself" is exactly what the point of Gus was this season and it is not a healthy approach, hence why she told me to go to AL ANON meetings. This season was every poignant to me because I've been experiencing some of the same stuff as Mickey has been. It's wild that these writers have been able to create such a relatable character in Mickey. She's the crown jewel of this show
I think if you relate to Gus, you might be more likely to hate Mickey and vice versa. I relate more to Gus and while I don't hate Mickey, I get more frustrated with her and tend to side with Gus but I see where he's part of the problem. I love this show so much and I wanna talk about it all the time, haha.
Wait. People can relate to one character more than the other? Is it fucked up that I can relate to both equally?
