Love Lies Bleeding (Rose Glass, 2024) Movie

Love Lies Bleeding is an upcoming romantic thriller film directed by Rose Glass from a screenplay she co-wrote with Weronika Tofilska. It is a co-production between A24 and Film4. It stars Kristen Stewart as a gym employee and Katy O'Brian as a bisexual bodybuilder. The film also stars Jena Malone, Anna Baryshnikov, Dave Franco and Ed Harris.

 

Been waiting for this one, I need to see this now. What a trailer.

Just saw this, I think my expectations for it were too high, but I had a good time at the movies for sure! Katy O'Brien was awesome!

 

Liked this too. Agreed with the high expectations. Everyone is really good. Glad Rose Glass continues to throw in some truly insane fantastical elements. The story itself - ehhh it’s a genre movie so you pretty much know exactly where it’s going. It might capture the griminess of the ‘80s better than The Iron Claw.

 

Really enjoyed this but I'm not sure I loved that one scene at the end lol

 

I went in with zero expectations. Thought it was just okay

I would generally agree and think it’s funny on its own but feels a little gross to capitalize on it I guess

 

people putting some sort of dudes rock spin on this are sick, also

 

Really liked this. Some big swings. Conventioanl plotting with really cool visual storytelling. Kristen Stewart is the one.

it’s like Bound and The Iron Claw if directed by the Coens and Winding Refn.
