There’s something so oddly hilarious about the swedish episodes

 

Not sure if there is another thread for similar reality shows but yall.

I just watched a masterpiece season of trash reality tv.

Idk if yall have ever watched Married at First Sight, I've watched all the seasons of the USA version (there are like 18) and I really like it even if it drags on a bit here and there.

I decided to check out the other countries versions, the latest MAFS UK season was excellent.

Then I decided to give MAFS Austrailia a try. Season 12, the latest completed season.

Both these countries versions have a significantly better show structure, idk why the USA version doesn't just copy it because it is objectively better.

My god, MAFS Australia was a MASTERPIECE.

I have never been so drawn into a show like this (i've watched thousands of hours by now) every episode is packed with entertaining drama, hilarity and shocking events.

The show is 40 FUCKING EPISODES EACH AN HOUR LONG.

I pirated it, I can DM yall the site I used if you don't know where to look but if you are fiending for some fresh trash dating reality TV you must watch MAFS Australia season 12. I promise you.

 

I'm not surprised lol. I watch Australian Survivor and whenever ratings are mentioned they always talk about how MAFS is a literal untouchable juggernaut that no show comes close to it's audience. Considering how much I enjoy the Australian version of Survivor compared to the US, you may have just gave me reason for checking out MAFS lol. I was always meh because the US version is......just meh.

Engagement on episode 1? Something tells me this isn't going to turn out well.

They seem super into each other, hopefully it works out well.

 

Hopefully. Just don't remember the last time there were engagements this soon and knowing this show....

 

I feel like it used to be pretty common for there to be engagements in episode 1. Then the last couple seasons they decided to drag the pods out to 4-5 episodes for some reason…

 

yeah after watching the second episode and there was another engagement, it seems like they went back to the pacing of earlier seasons. I couldn't really remember, but the last one(s) drug out forever

 

Ugh man. Fuck these bigots.

I think ep5. It all kinda runs together since I let all 6 episodes play while working yesterday

 

Tbh like 85% of the cast are the worst people this season.

I just got to the ep where watch guy and hair salon girl talk about LGBTQ kids. Gross, fuck those two.

I love the way tattoo dad talks about his kid. I dated two people since my kid was born and everything he says is so true. I don't need help raising my kid, but you being in his life and loving him and supporting him is all you can ask for.

 

eh i liked most of it but when he was like "my kid is so cute right, isn't he so cute, he's so cute, he looks just like me right?" it feels like he's fishing a bit lol

 

In the pods he was cool. Outside? ...idk, we'll see. It's already seeming not great.
