6 episodes in. Really enjoying this so far. Just not sure if my ADHD will allow me to sit with such a long fucking show lmao Cool that it's been upscaled to HD Dolby vision on Netflix
Yo why the fuck did nobody get Shannon when Boone was dying? They even got Michael from the beach, could have given her a heads up there and then while she was also on the beach with Sayid. Just dumb haha.
Didn’t Sayid take her to like a secret beach for that date? It wasn’t their normal beach I thought. I always assumed no one could find her.
Oh hmm. Maybe I spaced it haha. I don't remember anyone even attempting to find her but maybe you're right
Damn, just finished the show and the epilogue. Fantastic series. I thought it was one of the best finales I've seen. In a way, the viewer is watching the finale throughout the entire season through the flash sideways which I thought was brilliant. I don't know how some people think that they were dead the whole time - Christian literally tells Jack point blank that it was all real. I watched this due to hearing comparisons to the show From. And tbh, I do see why comparisons have been made, but boy is it a complete mess in writing in comparison.
Part of the reason for the confusion from some audiences was that ABC opted to play silent footage of the wreckage on the beach during the credits after the show ended. It was a decision made on their part because they felt it would be too jarring for audiences to cut immediately from the emotional ending to an ad for Jimmy Kimmel or the news or whatever. I actually always kind of liked that choice because it felt like a nice little tribute to where we’d started vs where we ended up, but people are pretty divided over it. Part of that division is because of the confusion it caused over the actual ending of the show. It led to people thinking that the footage of the empty beach and plane wreckage meant they were dead the whole time. But then you’d really only reach that conclusion if you just up and ignored everything that preceded it, but I suppose that’s neither here nor there.
I'm watching the Getting Lost documentary now lol. Wild, apparently Michael Keaton was originally supposed to play Jack and get killed off in the pilot. Kate was originally gonna be the star of the show
I have a very obsessive personality when I finally find something I'm interested in lol. Have more free time now that I'm single for the first time in a decade, too xD
I get that. I’m the same way, but with books/comics/manga. I can’t sit through a tv episode lately unless I’m 100% in. That exception right now is Severance.
Have you seen Twin Peaks and Severance? I haven’t watched From (I don’t want a streaming service just for one show), but both are very similar to Lost and definitely not as long.
I haven't seen Twin Peaks! Severance, I saw the first few episodes but for whatever reason, got side tracked and never finished the first season. I really liked what I saw, though. I should check them both out
Severance is probably my current favorite airing show and come extremely close to the feelings LOST would give me of mystery and complex layers
Sawyer is in some new hbo show coming out soon. Forgot what it was but always good to see him back on tv
fuck it I guess I'm rewatching the music when Locke stands up for the first time is so phenomenal, Giacchino in his bag right there
