I recently been watching 'From' - it gives me real LOST vibes. Lots of mysteries and twists and turns (not to mention Harold Perrineau being one of the main characters). Definitely recommend! From
As somebody who just got to experience this show like, two years ago, buckle up buckaroos cause it is a RIDE
Watching this show, even 10 years after its initial start, was one of the best TV experiences I've ever had. I have random moments that pop up all the time.
Yeah I am not sure I've ever been as engaged with a show. Me and my girlfriend watched it over second lockdown and it was such a blast having nothing to do but ponder in the mystery. Lost was also one of the only times I was so engaged in a story that I didn't just Google spoilers lol (I am bad for doing this)
I'm really interested in checking out From, but don't really wanna subcribe to MGM+. Maybe once season 2 is finished I'll subscribe for a month and binge both seasons. Also very jealous of anyone starting LOST for the first time. My favorite show of all time, and being able to watch it as it originally aired was one of my favorite TV experiences. The fan theories, the easter eggs, the summers spent speculating. I still think about the show a lot. It's been almost 10 years since I've done a rewatch, maybe I'll do that again this summer.
Fun fact: I used to post here on the Lost thread when the show was running. I think my name was different though. I don't remember.
From is really good. Definitely feels like a little Lost clone in a lot of ways. And some of the acting isn’t great. But when it’s good it’s good and the only thing to give me that mystery box Lost feeling.
Another show recommendation for fans of LOST/From is 'Wayward Pines' with Matt Dillon. For those that haven't watched it, I definitley recommend. Wayward Pines
didn’t the cut the show off before it ended? Or was the ending just super unsatisfying that I blacked it out? I was definitely really into it at the beginning tho
I think the show was always designed to be one season, based off a book series. Once the show aired and was received well, they green lit a second season but the problem was (spoiler ahead)... Matt Dillon's character died on the final episode of Season 1 and other main characters weren't signed on for more than 1 season - so Season 2 feels a lot different.
