All of my memories of watching Lost are similar, haha. I got into the show around season 5, as a sophomore in college, which meant long nights binging the show via Hulu after classes/dinner. My friends would go play basketball or wanna hang outside in between classes or before dinner and I'd be sitting there with headphones on watching. I'm pretty sure I ordered out food for like a month straight while watching some nights.
Haha yeah, I think it was pretty standard back then to order food and watch it on headphones a few times. Internet wasn't so wrought with theories back then so you had to try and find someone else who watched it to discuss it.
I miss John Locke. I remember being an utter wreck when they decided to kill him off and totally thought he was going to save the day. I'm still bitter about it hahaha
Did I tell y’all I visited Oahu in June and went to a few LOST locations? Here’s some pics: I have more but I didn’t want to spam the thread and annoy people
I went to the crash site and others camp a few years back, it was surreal being there, I was looking back at the photos recently, so crazy
I always forget how good the Ethan reveal was in season 1. I think that was the first time on the show my mind was actually blown and leaking out through my ears.
Desmond, Hurley, Ben all had great arcs. I found myself caring less and less about jack and kate as it went on, really liked Juliet and Farraday as well.
Nice!!! I got to spend some time out there a few years back doing science stuff. It's a very cool area. Climbing up the ridge (not following a real path..) is one of the most fun hikes I've done. There's also an old abandoned tunnel (not the bunker on the tour) in the valley that reminded me of Lost. I think it had an old water pump that wasn't used anymore at the end.
I kinda wanna rewatch this, but then I remember how it all ended. also that episode about jack's tattoos might be one of the worst hours of television
I think that this would have benefited from the planned 9? seasons that it was going to be. Things would have been fleshed out and maybe even less filler.
