anyway, I lost them after their lp as wu lyf, which had some incredible moments, might check this out if I remember

well yes but I've been on this band since the early days don't get it twisted!

it was so exciting following them in the beginning

 

because we are the only people on this website with good music taste obviously

 

the only time they played toronto was 19+ and it was pre having a fake id so i couldnt go. Still gutted about that. Doesnt help i know peeps who went and it apparently the most wild show ever

I remember them auctioning their demo to labels because they refused to give it away

I bought their 1st 12” and it came in a mysterious package and had a cool flag etc

it’s been a long minute now ...

 

Everytime I go back to Spiritual Songs (which isn't nearly often enough) it stuns me more and more. So excited for anything this guy does.

Yep, I wasn't so clear - big fan of the WU LYF record too, so anything Ellery Roberts touches is good shit.

Finally listened to the singles and they're (obviously) incredible. Can't believe the record is still like 3 months out.

 

they actually have released 4 singles! and its a 10 track album lol. Im afraid ill have heard like 80% of the album by the time it drops

This finally drops soon! Post Millennial Tension is still probably my favourite song of 2018.

I was reading an interview and apparently this whole album was finished and supposed to be released over a year ago but label issues caused it to be delayed so much. Pretty sure they already have a lot of the next album already written at this point.
