ahhhhhhh, just bought the All's Well That End EP on discog.com. I've waited so long to own this 10". Now all I need are those zine singles.
This band has really grown on me over the years. "Avocado, Baby" scratched the itch for me and now "5 Flucloxacillin" is one of my favorite jams of the year
every time one of the heatrash 7"s go up for sale on discog, they get sold within 30 seconds, and i never get there in time :(
I'm still confused by some of the production choices on the album, some songs are super rough and sketchy while others are clean and polished (I can't even listen to Hung Empty on my cars shitty stereo, it's so blown out). I don't know if they ran out of money or they just wanted some songs to sound like demos, but it's still a great record. Even if they can't tour (which is looking more and more likely) I hope they keep releasing music. I'll buy it
been listening to their xmas EP a ton lately, this band and christmas goes together so so so so so well
also a slow slow death essentially makes this album my #1 of the year. every other song could of been quack noises for all i care, but that one song alone is good enough for the top spot
I like this album, it has grown on me more than any other album this year but I still prefer No Blues.
this band has become an all time favorite this year the best set i've seen all year and i've seen emperor x and jeff rosenstock this year
the #1 most baffling thing to me about this band is that Tom writes all parts for all the instruments. The breadth of work he has on display through this bands discography in terms of diversity and quality is just astounding. Truly one of the best song writers out there.
All said and done this is probably gona end up #2 for me, I had it at #1 for most of the year but got into that Japanese Breakfast record last month and it's pretty much all I've listened to since.
