This day has been huge. Finally got on board with Los Camp, Acceptance and Future all in one day. I enjoyed/had a middling opinion of all three, and that changed dramatically today. Yay for great albums!
not that it's a surprise by any means , but I'm loving this with every new listen. That closer has grown on me a ton
I just put this on and A Slow, Slow Death made me stop everything I was doing. That is a well-written song.
Just here to shower praise on this album. It's truly fantastic. Can't wait to see them in a few weeks.
Okay like I enjoy everything here but A Slow, Slow Death is so good that I'm actually considering whether it's the best song I've heard so far this year. Top 5, at least.
Ooh, if you're fresh to LC, you should definitely venture back through their discog. Romance Is Boring is my favourite, but I reckon you'd get a real kick (heh!) out of No Blues given the references to football that tickle you.
With the beginning of the year, it always takes a few weeks for me to finally find the first release that I fall in love with. Last year it was Cardinal. I think this year it's going to be this album.
I'm thinking I'm the only person who isn't totally in love with A Slow Slow Death. It's probably my least favorite song on the record (It's still really good, I don't think they can even write a bad song) The chorus is great, I'm not in love with the verses. But nothing really stands out either.
I think Gareth's making an effort to get out of his typical range, and I say it's a success. There were moments that I didn't know it was him singing, but I enjoyed it.
After years of waiting for them to come to the US I'm finally getting to see them tonight! so excited. Also loving this album as well. Probably my favorite thing to come out this year so far.
