Los Camp is a fucking stellar act, and I'm convinced they don't have a bad album out. Their early material might sound more twee than their current stuff, but you can't deny Hold On Now Youngster is just pure fun.
preach it. Not only are none of their albums bad, but they all have their own unique sound. One of the few bands I can think of that change up their sonics with every album while also never losing that "core" feeling that comes with listening to them. Like comparing Hold On Now... to No Blues sonically they are so drastically different, but both are so easily identifiable as LC!
I have a feeling No Blues being their first album not released by Arts & Crafts over here in North America was a big reason it got so little of a push. For the most part that album was self-released. Hopefully this new one gets them more press.
Favorite band, can't wait I feel like No Blues wasn't that popular because they barely toured for it. I think even recently Gareth said he regretted how little they were able to push it
they added event on facebook. they also playing Cleveland and Detroit in march with crying. Safe to say full tour with them .
i know crying was able to play a show on the 10th of february so tour probably starts a week after that
ya sorry for being premature over here lol. I assumed them creating an fb event for the LA show meant the announcement was imminent, still pretty confident we will get tour/album announcement by end of day.
Oh hell yeah. I kinda thought this band was done when they tweeted about their new album being shelved last year so I'm glad to see they're back. No Blues is one of my favorite albums.
They weren't talking about their album being shelved. Apparently that's British slang for...something. I still don't know
pretty sure that "shelved" comment was in reference to them finishing it but having to put it aside for a while before releasing it. They wanted to release it by December, but were afraid it wouldn't get as much attention, so they held on to it till 2017.
This was the "shelved" tweet, which was from March, but they were recording LP6 in late June in Spain.
