I read mad half of the article before deciding I’d rather finish it after hearing the album. It gives away a lot of lyrical callbacks and Easter eggs that I’d rather experience first hand I will say my only complaint with their recent albums is they aren’t as dense or textured as Romance is Boring so them saying they made a point to take their time to do that has me so excited
Anyone gotten the link for that Live at the Troxy YouTube concert they're releasing tonight? I pre-ordered the album from their site, and saw the email earlier this week that a link would be sent out - but I'm not seeing anything. Was looking forward to watching that tonight....
Not up on Apple Music in Australia, had to take my first listen on Spotify’s shitty audio quality. It’s great, but I’d like to hear it properly!
Listening to the album via ...ugh... YouTube Music. It's as fantastic as the singles let on. Can't wait to revisit this one again and again.
Kinda crazy in retrospect that the ultra-buzzy early records or maturation opus Romance Is Boring never got a BNM. But this is a deserving first BNM. It's their best album. Album of the year at this point.
