Dinked edition was up for pre-order when I checked at 6 AM EST.

 

Just snagged a Dinked edition and it also finally picked up a copy of Rob's Sparky Deathcap EP.

Also just want to say that, as someone who listened to Sick Scenes nonstop while playing Breath of the Wild, seeing them shout out Tears of the Kingdom in the album themes made me very happy haha

 

I've listened to Feast of Tongues like 100 times in the past 24 hours, i'm going to ruin it for myself but it's just so good.

Song has big time Hello Sadness vibes to me, with a hint of Romance is Boring (bringing back the strings is nice, hope they're on a lot of the album)

New to this band but single sounds great, would you recommend just starting from LP1 and working through?

I recognise the cover of Romance Is Boring so maybe that is their "main" album? I just completely missed this band until now.

 

Romance is Boring is my favorite but it’s also kind of dense. If you like this single I’d recommend Hello Sadness or No Blues, and go from there

I don’t like their first two albums and think they’re kind of annoying

 

See, I love the whole gamut. Twee, excited twenty somethings making big noise, growing into adults with Thoughts.

So…I’d say whole thing, but I’ve also been there since album #1.

 

No Blues is by far my favorite, but you can't really go wrong with any of their albums.

 

I came in at Romance and have loved them since. Would say either of Hello Sadness or No Blues would be a great starting place

 

Sick Scenes and Romance are by far my favorites. Just killer albums.

 

I’d start at the beginning and go straight through. They haven’t made a bad album.

 

Seeing them next month for the first time. Very excited.

 

May save myself for the full album, probably too depressed to be listening to new LC! at the moment.

At least it's not a relationship-breakup record like Hello Sadness. Thank you, been in a weird headspace recently but hoping I'll feel generally better by July!
