It's still so bad! I'm in Studio City and it smells like all the smoke is just funneling up the 101 and settling here. I woke up today with the worst headache and sore throat. Obviously it's worse over the hill closer to the fire but still sucks. @xkaylinh I imagine it's even worse over in Burbank? You doing OK?
yeah i'm fine i'm up in the hills a bit further north from burbank so maybe that's why i'm probably not getting it as much
i bought a ticket but idk how i'm getting there. the last time i walked from Dynasty Typewriter back to the metro station gave me the creeps. sooo if anyone wants to accompany me...?
Is anyone else going to the 4th of July Bash at the Coliseum? I got tickets for me and my mom and we have awesome seats facing the stage. I just saw today that Chaka Kahn is going to be there! We're going to take the Expo Line (I still don't know the new letters) down there which should be fun.

So I don’t know what’s happening, but Chain Reaction’s building has a fresh coat of orange and black paint on it and a set of brand new security doors. That seems awfully strange for a building that was expected to be torn down for housing.
That’s what I said - I live a couple of blocks from there and noticed it a few times over the last few weeks. It’s now black and orange instead of white and teal on their side of the building with the awning removed. The security doors next to where the stage is are newly replaced and were open today; something is happening, but not sure what. I’ll grab a picture next time I’m over that way.
