so what i'm hearing is don't park there? a shuttle goes to and from Old Town but it only runs for certain events and Chappell isn't listed (yet), mayyybe i can convince my parents to drop off/pick up from there, certainly less traffic than all the rideshares going straight to the venue
speaking of pasadena, i'm going to vroman's for a book signing tomorrow (and will probably check out the two record stores nearby while i'm there). is it okay to park at the target? would I have to pay for parking?
Vromans has a free lot behind it that is busy but sometimes has spots. There’s also sometimes free street parking on the street behind it (Union). If you park at Target, you’re doing the general roll of the dice you do when you park anywhere you’re not supposed to but I haven’t heard of that lot being specifically especially monitored.
Pre-pandemic I was able to get free promo tickets for this small weird venue in Pasadena that used to be a Gelson’s super market through a lazy promoter who just handed people stacks of tickets. I got to see the Alarm, Sugar Ray, Lit, and Alien Ant Farm. At the Alarm show, they had tables and dinner service lol. It was a weird venue but very fun to have that brief free Rickey hook up.
I almost did and never got around to it because I was supposed to run the Disney 10K next weekend and didn’t know what day worked best. My laziness paid off.
Probably unknown right now, but anyone have a sense of HOB Anaheim set times? Trying to mentally figure out if I get my kids to sleep then bounce, how much I would miss
I'm thinking like.... Doors 630 Opener 730 TGUK 815 Jawbreaker 930 I live about 16-18 min away, my kids usually are asleep by 830, I doubt I can make it for tguk
Okay, my turn to ask a Rose Bowl question. I’m going to the Oasis show next Saturday. Never been to a proper concert at the Rose Bowl (I’ve done the swap meet and JLH Fest, but not an actual event in the stadium). What’s the best bet parking-wise? I looked on their website and the only options for a parking pass are $64 and $200 dollars. I got an ad on Instagram for this offsite parking with a shuttle. Has anyone done this before?
Never gone for a concert, but for football I’ve parked in Old Town and taken the free shuttle from the Parsons lot.
That’s great to know lol. EDIT: Also it seems TGUK are only doing 45, which likely means they’re only doing STWHA. Jawbreaker gets 60 min, which is also interesting
