Currently at the Fonda for the first time. This venue is gorgeous! I'm currently out on the rooftop patio which overlooks Hollywood Blvd.
For those who live/drive in LA / similar big cities where traffic jams routinely happen, do you always make sure to have a full tank of gas? is that a common thought of, "oh shit, down to 1/4 a tank and i might be stuck in traffic for five hours, better make sure i fill up"?
Did they play anything new and or Dizzy? I didn't get to make it out to the desert. My friends didn't want to make the trek. I'm bummed but it is what it is.
I didn't get to go either. My friend was supposed to come down to see them but he couldn't make it and he was my ride -- couldn't find anyone else. QQ
Just checked in for my flight and am packing and realize I will stick out like a sore thumb because it's almost summer and I own no shorts
This is already the best city on earth and I'm pretty sure after hanging out with @Meerkat I will begin begging my ex to move our family out here
Sure it is, it's just not normal. It's saved for shit tanker spills or driving home on the 91 lol. I went to the Angels game earlier. Grew up in OC and I only really go to LA once in a while for shows now.
My work commute isn't so bad because of the hours I'm scheduled but I spend a lot of time in my car regardless. Sigh.
It never ends. UCLA runs the quarter system so I'm sure nearly every student is around the campus today. Edit: News coverage of school shootings is abysmal.
My brother and I are going to be in LA this weekend for The Matches show, but we are looking for things to do/see/eat before the show/the day after. We've talked about hiking up to the Hollywood sign, checking out Sunset strip, the Chinese theater, and that type of bullshit, haha. But where are good (affordable) places to eat, cool shit to check out that majority of tourists might overlook? yadda yadda yadda!
I'll get some ideas for you, but the south bay is a great spot to check out, Mahattan/Redondo/Hermosa beach, lots of food etc down there
I endorse this idea. Stayed in Inglewood as well and spent half-to-almost-all my time at Hermosa haha.
I support this, as I live there. Ha missed you when you were around, not around for @bradsonemanband's grand entrance either, I'm a failure
