I’d totally take you up on it if it wasn’t the first day of school (and a day game). highly recommend Noble Ale nearby.
While I appreciate the recommendations, I am not going to the game that day haha. But may drag @WanderingSquall out on tuesday
I saw The Naked Gun today and there was a quick visual gag where they show "ponzischeme.com Arena" and my entire audience burst out in applause and laughter. It reminded me of when I saw Nope opening weekend at the AMC Burbank. When they showed the UFO Fry's it was the same reaction. People in LA really do love to see LA on film.
I saw Heat at the New Beverly a few years ago and the guys next to me would comment on basically every new location in the movie “oh I know where that is oh that’s off Spring oh yeah I’ve been to that diner”
For the OC folks, the Evvntly app has a ton of free tickets to Unwritten Law/Mest/Pulley on Saturday at House Of Blues Anaheim.
I saw Nick from Bayside post about this the other day - so cool, but I’m nowhere near any of these places.
going to see Chappell on 10/10, anyone have tips for parking or rideshare for Brookside at the Rose Bowl? apparently Just Like Heaven is also there?
I hate the parking situation for Just Like Heaven. It’s like a 20 minute walk to the gates and it takes forever to get in and out of the lot. Definitely recommend NOT parking in the grass area if you can
Yeah when I did that fest last year, it was such a pain in the ass. We left halfway through Postal Service’s set so we could beat the crowd and they finished their encore by the time we got back to the car
