definitely! He's getting better at going places and hanging out and such, we can make something happen sooner than later
Not sure if I can make it to the show (I have to be up super early on Friday) but I could maybe meet up for dinner/drinks/hang out before! :) My schedule is a little in flux so I'm really hoping I can swing it
I'd love to make it out to another LA meetup, but I can't do Thursday. It's a late night for me at work - we have in person parent conferences until late for the first time since pre-Covid. Let me know about anything in the future though. I'd love to come hang out.
Confirmed! Can’t swing Thursday but I’ll be at Jimmy eat world, blink, and DCFC/ PS this year and am down to meet up!
There's this place a couple blocks away, I'll try to be there at around 6! https://www.yelp.com/biz/pad-thai-bistro-glendale I'm hoping there's gonna be street parking near the venue
I was getting in line to see Michelle on her book tour and I saw a car back up into another (empty) car as it was trying to parallel park and like what do you do in that situation as a bystander? I had to get in line (and I have social anxiety/avoid confrontation) so I just kept walking but other people were visibly reacting to it. Do you tell the driver to leave a note, take pictures of their license plates? Do you snitch or keep your mouth shut? Oh, and yeah, Michelle was great. Very insightful discussion.
I have 2 tickets for Gatsbys that I can't use because I'm an idiot and booked a flight that day. If anyone wants them, let me know.
Is anyone already planning to be at Amoeba for RSD tomorrow? Would it be too big an ask to try to get the Taylor release for me? (and Maya Hawke's but I don't think that one will sell out)
ugh fiiiine I bought a ticket It'll give me an excuse to visit The Last Bookstore on Indie Bookstore Day
