The link is working again. It's reads that it's a Thursday show. Tickets on sale Friday, 11/15 at 10:00am. Pleeeeeeease be real. I need to see Thursday again.
i had all this food in LA/CFG and I am happy: Shake Shack, Eggslut, Cena Vegan, Kogi Burrito and Dog Haus. It was a glorious weekend of food. I am already planning my next trip for like January/February.
I haven't tried Eggslut, Cena Vegan, Kogi Burrito or Dog Haus Guisados is great. And for hot dogs, I like Wurstküche.
Wurstkuche has the best fries BUT they’re owner is transphobic. Not sure if they’re still involved though.
This is all from my friend who worked for him at one point but the guy owns wurstkuche and also owned a small cafe called Blacktop which was right next to arts district wurstkuche. The two locations shared a kitchen. Anyways he says the owner was highly disrespectful to a few trans workers among other scummy business practices. Eventually the entire blacktop staff walked out and they closed for like two weeks before re-opening and then closing again for good.
I haven't been to most of the aforementioned restaurants. I'm only ever in LA for shows, though. Although, come to think of it, I'm not really familiar with must visit spots in the Valley, either.
My fav valley spots: Carney’s for hot dogs ArcLight for movies Sugarfish for sushi Daichon or big fish for japanese Jinya for ramen Black Market, hyperion public, or catcher in the rye for cocktails Boneyard bistro or barrel and ashes for BBQ Antonio’s or little toni’s for Italian Nothing bunt cakes for cakes Coffee commissary or corner cottage for breakfast burritos Cactus for tacos (RIP manny’s) Aroma, nat’s, or blue jam for brunch Blue dog or laurel tavern for burgers/ pub atmosphere 1up for drinks and video games
You shan’t be at-ed! I gotta check it out! I’m literally a stones throw from corner cottage. There’s actually a great liquor store with some amazing Mexican food inside but idk the name. We just called it “the corner” at work. Haha. It’s on victory and providencia .
that would make you a stones throw from my office on flower st. you're talking about Favorite Liquor right?
