at the Christmas party last night everyone all got the same alert about the fire and high winds. was quite the sight to see 100 people all pull their iPhones out at the same time

oh nvm seems to have cleared up. I know they cancelled classes there though.

 

so this will be my first Christmas alone. I don't feel very Christmassy here cause it's still so damn warm haha

what does LA do for orphan Christmas? at the moment I'm leaning to getting drunk on the beach and staring at the ocean.

I will be alone on Christmas too lol, but that’s okay cause I’m not huge on Christmas. Honestly, I’ll probably be working

 

The Pikey has a British Christmas dinner on the 25th. Trouble is, The Pikey is the least British pub I've ever seen despite claiming as such

Finally.

I'm scared for southern Santa Barbara county however, really really hoping we don't get any bad mudslides from the fires

 

It's very bad. Several dead in Montecito and mud everywhere.

 

Yeah, it's crazy up there. Mud across the entire 101, unbelieveable

 

My wife's work is in the thick of it. Luckily (for her, not for everyone else) it happened before she went in, otherwise she would have been right in the path of the slides.

 

That's insane, I'm glad she's fine though!

 

This rain is a godsend but I knew there'd be mudslides, that really sucks.

no, i've only lived in california for about 5 years. But i like pomona a lot, and love the los angeles area in general. pretty happy to die within 50 miles of where im sitting right now.

 

Nice dude. I’ve grown up visiting SoCal cause I’ve had family here, but I only just moved to Long Beach in August. Originally from the Bay Area. I’m definitely not going back

 

long beach is awesome. if i didn't have kids i'd move to long beach in a second. my sister in law lives there, but im sort of stuck by being attached to certain school districts. (clarmont)

northern california is dope too. just stupid expensive.

 

Yeah, LB is a lot of fun. I’m single and love to go out a lot and it is a great place for that. Where are you from originally?
