Went to Angel City. Had a good beer, played some cornhole. It was a good night. I think I like Arts District Brewing a bit more though. They have a full bar and skee ball.

 

Angel City's beer is not really up to par with Arts Dist or Mumford. The space is the best of them, but the beer is ok to bad, with a few ok and good, haha

 

Brewery, schmewery! Grill 'Em All in Alhambra is the only place that matters!

 

Grill 'Em All is cool for like one or two visits and then the gimmick is over and you realize the food is decent at best.

 

I've been to the truck once a few years back, I remember it being decent as well

 

Gotten two parking tickets in the three weeks that I've lived here

 

Lol. I got my second one last week. Though, this isn’t new to me. I got parking tickets in the Bay Area all the time. It’s the worst. Like, it’d be one thing if they were $20 but both of mine have been $50, it’s a scam.

 

They are nuts, mine are $96 and $73, but I'm contesting both of them

I've gotten about one per year of living here, I'd say that's pretty solid overall!

 

I got one there before. They were writing up my ticket right when I got back to my car and gave it to me anyway.

Dang that’s crazy. My friend up north in Santa Rosa texted me this morning saying she was being evacuated because of fires too.

 

Yeah, out by Anaheim, it's fucked. And then another up in Napa that was really bad, but obviously not part of the LA sky

 

Dammit, I'm sorry everybody. Over a million acres burned this summer in Montana and I moved here to escape the fires but brought them with me.

 

I went outside and my car had a decent amount of ash caked on it

 

whole damn state is about to be on fire.
