Very surprised the UK shows are in arenas. Sure her last tour here was in much smaller venues. A sign the promoters know the album is an absolute banger?
I'm surprised the U.S. dates are arena too. Last time she was in Portland she played the Theater of the Clouds, which is a portion of our Moda Center arena that's sectioned off. She must be banking on this album being huge for her, and I hope it is!
is that a bad thing? i love the anthem and think it's much better than an area. closer view and don't have to pay arena tiered prices i am surprised she hasn't upgraded from the anthem though. even on the melodrama tour she mentioned it was the only non-arena date
Yeah, I thought she said she was done with arena shows and theaters were more her thing after the “Melodrama” tour. Either way, she hasn’t come to KC since that tour, so I guess no worries for me either way.
I mean that was a good PR spin because she wasn't going to be filling arenas after the (unfair) response to Solar Power. But also Solar Power in general really would not have worked in an arena setting, I'll give her that. After the Charli song and the initial response to What Was That, I think she will definitely move more tickets this go around. What Was That feels a lot more fitting for arenas.
Yeah that's why I was confused, I didn't look at hard at this one and just figured it was something else in her pockets or whatever
I thought I was in the Deafheaven thread for a moment and almost spat out my coffee when I read those numbers lol
Philly was a mess, friends got tickets to DC before the queue blew up, and I ended up getting 4 for Pittsburgh on the floor.
Cheapest for Chicago are $116 but I think those are all gone. I might have to wait and try for resale closer to the show.
Pretty easy to get tickets in Milwaukee (she's in Chicago during Riot Fest so had to fall back on that). Was able to get 7 tickets together in the 2nd row of 100 level so I'm very stoked! PIcked the right city I guess!
