Pretty much the norm now is to wait to see what the bootleggers cook up because it's almost guaranteed to be a better design.
Glastonbury 2025 sets can be downloaded from the following link. Took me forever to find these. I'll be cross-posting this in every thread with an artist that had a set at this year's festival. Enjoy everyone! Internet Archive: Digital Library of Free & Borrowable Texts, Movies, Music & Wayback Machine
Really had my clicking moment with this last night. Another extremely special album. Top 5 at the moment: Hammer Shapeshifter Favorite Daughter Current Affairs Broken Glass
Got to see her on Friday. What an incredible show. She knows how to execute a vision and really bring it to life. Some really awesome light work that really highlighted the ultrasound/xray concept of the album. And she's so good at making you feel like you're in on a secret with her. I could nitpick the setlist a *little* bit but I will not. The album has really revealed itself more and more over repeated listens the last few months, she really did something special here. I would comfortably place it as my 2nd favorite from her at this point, but it's not far behind Melodrama.
Woah, that's big news and happy for her. Sounds like she wants a break from the industry, and I don't blame her. 12 is a young age to sign anything big like a record contract. So, has anyone else had their phone blow up with several texts from Lorde? I received eight messages from her over the span of two hours, two of which were long voice messages LOL. EDIT: I'm dumb. It was like 11 min worth of voice messages that I hadn't listened to yet. she talks about it in the second one at the 2:45 mark. Apologies for the mixup.
I'm surprised we didn't ever get a deluxe of this album, I know there were multiple interviews where she said there were more songs she recorded and loved, but didn't fit the flow of the album. She's played at least one live too, in addition to the Gov Ball one. Maybe we'll get an EP this year or something
new email sent out too, plus a bunch of images from the making of, in this impossible to use format: Lorde
