Most of the shows I go to are by myself because my friends don’t listen to music like I do. It’s nice going with friends but being by yourself you can go wherever you want and get there/leave when you want too.
i go to solo shows a bunch bc my wife is generally pretty much on most shows but i don’t think i’d do an arena show solo tbh
Anyone managed to get UK tickets on the presale? Put the code in bang on 10am, the page refreshed and said tickets go on sale Friday. Refreshed, put the code in again, and now "tickets not available" both seated and standing. Can't have been more than 30 seconds after going on sale Fucks sake
I got mine through O2 Priority - Not sure if you can get on there at all, but i've just checked and they still have tickets for Leeds, Edinburgh and Birmingham
Ah right, thanks! Not sure if a friend bought one for me through that, it would be in their name and might cause issues at the venue? I'm refreshing the page and one appeared but had gone by the time I clicked the captcha. I'll have to try again tomorrow
Hoping to pick up Boston tickets for this in an hour. Dumb question but does anyone know if the “Artist Presale” is through Ticketmaster or if I need to access it some other way?
Saw Wolf Parade solo 3 years ago....I dont think I’ve ever seen a crowd become a singular entity like that crowd did when they played “I’ll Believe in Anything”......you’re never alone at a concert.
one of my favorite things is flying somewhere for a weekend to go to a show by myself. a few years ago, i flew to san francisco to see owen on a monday, and american football was playing there on that friday, so i stayed there all week to go to both shows. that week was a blast. another time, i got off work on a friday, went straight to the airport, flew to san francisco to see quicksand that night solo, and then flew home the next day. didn't bring anything but a phone charger. such a fun 24 hours.
I couldn’t justify $125 for a balcony seat- all of orchestra was pretty much gone by the time I got in at like, 10:02, lol. Had a box seat selected but it got snagged before I could pay, bummer. Oh well! Boston looked pretty much sold out already, but I’ll still try the other presales this afternoon just in case
I probably shouldn’t have spent as much as I did but whatever. Like I said, the last time I saw her was incredible, so I’m willing to splurge.
did you just hit best available/tier 1 pricing and pit came up right away? i never pulled anything higher than 200 main level. always annoying when you can’t actually pick your specific seats
The website displayed all the different available sections and I just selected pit. So there wasn’t actually a “best available” per se, just a list of all the options.
My fiance and I's first concert together was Lorde in 2018, so it would be pretty cool to see her again together next year after we are married.
Didn’t mean to come off snarky in my post if I did! I would’ve spent the money for sure on the box ticket. But I’m also holding out hope for a few other artists I’d love to see, so I decided to hold off for now
trying to justify these prices when I’m already seeing her at primavera... oh well, melodrama tour was incredible so I can’t miss this
