Oh, when she called it a little sister of the album, I thought she was saying it wasn't on the album. But it indeed is.
Last night, I dreamt that I met her backstage before one of her shows and she was very friendly. She overheard me complaining about some back pain and cracked my back for me. It was a strange one lol
I'm all about Green Light, I think it kills it over Royals as a first single for an album. I do still like Royals but man I feel Green Light so much.
I'm pretty let down by both of these songs. It's fine though, I guess Lorde's music just isn't for me anymore.
Green Light is for sure the GOAT lorde song. Team and Royals close 2/3. Royals haters in here are looney.
I went from loving royals to hating it for a few years but now that I'm revisiting Pure Heroine in full I think I see it's greatness again. Ribs also has to be in the discussion for best lorde songs (though Team and Green Light are 1/2 in whatever order for sure)
Just listened to "Green Light" for the first time. No joke, it's one of the best pop songs I've ever heard.
As much as I dig Tennis Court, 400 Lux is the song that made me really appreciate that she was trying to do something different than most pop stars. I love that weird ass synth that kicks off the song.
That's why I like Tennis Courts, it's like pop in a universe where hip hop from Houston is the most dominant force in music
