She really was flawless. I loved everything about the show. The pacing of the set was super super good. Plenty of good banter/storytelling, her voice was amazing too. I can't stop gushing about the show. Run The Jewels were great too. I'm not a massive fan of them, not enough to pay to see just them anyways, so it was nice to be able to catch them. They were fun and handled the crowd very well. I saw a few moms get a bit squamish, it was hilarious.
Never listened to RTJ and I really am not likely to since Killer Mike has been pushing pro gun policy hard
Philly seems to be pretty well sold and the map has a B Stage on it... she just might not be popular in some of those early cities. I'm going to keep looking to see if they drop for the lower level. I want to see Lorde, but a hundred bucks is too much for me right now.
I was surprised at what a simple stage setup she had, I'm not used to seeing that in an arena, but the show was great. Run The Jewels also did a good job of getting the crowd excited, which Tove did not (although traffic was a mess getting in and tons of people were late).
My cousin who lives in buffalo texted me that she had an extra ticket if I’d be interested in going to the Toronto date so I’m taking a trip up. I’m seeing her here in dallas on Sunday and then again it seems hahaha. I’m excited to see mitski on the Toronto date cause she’s not playing the dallas one!
oh hey ya'll.... that was FUN tonight huh?!??!?!? Totally looked full from where I was by the time she went on
Definitely filled up by like two or three songs into her set. When everyone held their cell phones up during the ballads, it was beautiful. Good show! I do have to say that I would love to see her with a live band.
She had almost a full band, if not completely full, behind the big box! I could see the drummer, keyboardist and a few other people the hole time
Really nice, long show. Personally I really dug Tove, but I was a big fan going in. Solid little opening set. RTJ were so much hype, I was dying watching a mom or two haha. Lorde totally stole the show (duh) though, the moment of everyone screaming "A ruuuuushhhhhh at the beginning" during The Louvre was something amazing
Beautiful show. I was in the nosebleeds and people were so excited up there @irthesteve round 2 for Charli tomorrow
I'm so nervous about being on time for Mitski. I should get off about 6 and the venue is only like 30 minutes from here, but hopefully it doesn't take forever to get in (But it usually does at Allstate unfortunately)
This will be my first time going to Allstate so this is good to know. I live pretty close but I have to wait for my friend to meet me beforehand and I definitely don’t want to miss any of Mitski either.
