My girlfriend is unable to make it to the show which bums me out because there’s no way I can sell my ticket for face value ($75). Gonna lose quite a bit
I went with the 300s, kinda banking on them downsizing. Course I also don't know how they downsized so I might have celebrated too soon
Hey, at least she got to perform at the Grammys and didn't lose album of the year to freaking Bruno Mars. Whyyyyyyyy
I uhhh, just bought an upper deck ticket on Stubhub for 12 dollars (17 after fees) so i guess i'm going to this tomorrow in St. Louis
Ughh I honestly came close to biting the bullet and going tonight since there were pretty reasonable stubhub tickets, but I really had too much to do and need to stop recklessly spending, but now I'm mad at myself. It's ok though I just need to make it 25 days
There's an $80 floor seat on stubhub for Boston and I desperately want to pull the trigger and purchase.
Do it. I will be jealous and I wish I did that instead, but do it. Edit: Seeing quite a few for around $70 now near the B Stage. Wonder how songs many she's going to perform on that.
Pretty sure she ended up removing the B stage. It used to be on the seating chart for Milwaukee, but it was taken off recently. No B stage at the show last night.
I feel like it's tough because she's too big for theaters but maybe too small for arenas, it's hard to place her status in the pop world
I was surprised she went for such a large venue tour already. In Boston, she's playing at TD Garden, which is a 17,565 capacity. But I feel like she would have been much better suited for Agganis Arena by Boston University, which holds 7,200.
And definitely the fact that she did have smash hits with Royals and, to a lesser extent, Team, it's difficult to tell if she should be considered a top 40 pop star or a indie darling. The hiatus definitely hurt her I think, but hopefully this tour gets good press and people focus more on her performance than the empty seats, and then maybe next time she tours here she'll have more success.
