Selling 2 tickets for the Columbus show at Face Value if anyone is interested! Going to Detroit instead now. Section 124 Row F
I can't find the signed lithograph anywhere, and now I'm really worried that I was dumb enough to throw it away, because I think I left it in the box cus I wanted to frame it and didn't want to damage it in the mean time. I'm so upset about this right now.
Anyone going to the show in Columbus, OH on March 31st?? I’ve been dying to go but I really don’t want to go alone!!
Yea I was gonna say I saw a thing saying she's not allowed to perform because she's solo but everyone else is???? There has to be more to that right? I hope so at least, that's bullshit that she's not performing.
She was asked to be part of the Tom Petty tribute instead, dunno if that’s the same as not being “allowed”, but....probably.
Its such bullshit but I don't think it's a female issue like so many publications are trying to spin. In 2012 Bon Iver was nominated for 4 big awards and he was very vocal about how they would only let him perform if it was a Beach Boys tribute.
one who was born in 1996 too lol, I know she's a huge fan of people like Paul Simon and Fleetwood Mac but still
when every other nominee gets a performance of their own and they're all male, it is absolutely a "female issue," whether they intended it to be one or not.
Also Bon Iver does not have as much mainstream recognition/appeal (especially at that time) as Lorde. It's understandable why Bon Iver would have maybe been a risk the Grammys didn't want to take, but it's baffling that they wouldn't let Lorde perform, as she's virtually no risk at all. And when there's just so many absolutely random and meaningless performances throughout the night, it makes no sense.
