Trying to remember if I've seen Persona or not. Some of his movies I absolutely love, others drag on.

I've been holding out for a remastered version on PS4 because Yoko Taro has been saying it's likely after the success of NieR Automata

 

I’m old as fuck

But

I lost my shit when I saw two of the new iPhone emojis were Lord of the Rings Elves.

 

I like Automata a lot but the original Nier is still far and away my favorite Yoko Taro game, incredibly rough gameplay and all.

 

I'm excited to try it, definitely heard a lot about the rough gameplay but I'm so excited to see how the story plays out and to hear the soundtrack

 

It's not AWFUL, just kind of simplistic and still allows for some really memorable boss fights. But yeah, the highlight of the game is the phenomenal soundtrack, crazy story with some mind-blowing twists, fleshed out characters and a well developed world once you add to it with side quests and weapon stories. You probably knew all that already but hey, I like to gush about Nier.

 

When I get this game I'll be gushing back and it will be phenomenal
