Valarian and The City of a Thousand Cities was beautiful as a film but the plot didn’t hold up. Still worth a watch for the visuals, loved the lived in look.

 

I've been wanting to see that

 

Spend the two bucks at Redbox and watch it on Blu Ray, it’s gorgeous

 

It’s certainly pretty. The plot is razor thin, but there’s actually some cool ideas in there as well. If you have a nice big TV, it makes for a great screen saver, and I don’t mean that as an insult.

 

The plot is literally nothing until the last twenty minutes

 

Them hooking up at the end made me barf.

I'm supposed to be doing overnight work. I've been on the phone bridge for an hour waiting for anyone to say anything at all. This is such a fucking waste.

 

It was so bad. Like we have no knowledge of their past but we’re supposed to believe they’re in love? Both were miscast

 

Why would they do that? What are they going to do with their kids? Sam and Ronnie might get into a fist fight. Mike is sober and annoying now.

I actually enjoyed Jersey Shore.

 

I'm looking for a tv stand with shelves big enough to hold my records (probably 60 in total) and a game console, so it doesn't have to be to big. Looking to keep it relatively cheap. Anyone have any recs they feel strongly about?

 

I remember Valarian being so bad only because I texted @Henry a question and he answered it while in the theater watching it. I haven’t seen it.

 

My friend found a really nice one at HomeGoods, which isn’t a place I would’ve thought to look.

 

@oldjersey did the same thing to me during Justice League. lol

I left the film satisfied, but the more I thought about it afterward, the more pissed I got. The back half is awesome though.

 

Justice League was fun. Felt very patched together and rushed, but it was still a fun watch
