Lobster bisque is amazing though. Also, though very different, She Crab soup.

as a man who has moved into the same fourth floor walkup on two separate occasions, i find kinship in your pain

 

I've become a little jaded when it comes to Lobster Bisque because the only one I've had is from the Restaurant company I work for and it's ridiculous how incredible it is.

 

we were given a really nice couch the first time we moved in and literally couldn't fit it in the door after getting up to the fourth floor, was the WORST

 

This sounds great. The best lobster stew (soup) I've ever had comes from the Jordan Pond House in Maine. Served with popovers. So so so so good.

 

Their seafood chowder is amazing too, completely worth the 4 hour drive from my hometown.

 

I've never tried it. I will have to. It's also worth my 11 hour drive. I'm a seafood and fish stew/chowder enthusiast to the highest degree. I make it several times a year.

 

What's in that popover?

A popover is just a super airy/light pastry. It's a hollow, eggy roll essentially. Load it up with jam and butter or dip it in your soup.

 

so relevant, especially given my old building has the 180 degree landing in the middle of each flight.

 

We had a 3 hour move and 2 of those 3 hours were the couch

 

I did not miss work

if you're going to type more than 1 line of text on your snapchat story, the story must be set to 10 seconds so the reader has adequate time to read said text. there's nothing more frustrating than opening a story and getting halfway through reading the text and the story times out. it's inconsiderate
