I slept terribly last night. woke up every 15-30 minutes, i feel so fucking groggy and all I want to do is take a half day and crawl back into bed. unfortunately, I probably won't be home until 11pm tonight so it's gonna be a long day y'all.

All of this is imo. but it is an awesome opinion:

-this definitely needs (in order of importance) sea bass, trout, halibut, and cod at the expense of catfish (yuck) and crawfish which are niche regional. you definitely gotta have sea bass and trout on here. only Chilean sea bass is niche regional.

-add blue and yellow fin tunas to tuna section

-put scallops with mussels and clams category.

-add prawn to shrimp

 

I changed an entire day’s plan (costing like $120) to be able to go back and eat a smoked salmon pasta that cost $8 for a second dinner in a row good.

 

okay all i am going to let you figure out the seafood list amongst yourselves, tag me when it's done

I like the idea of just a white fish section (Sea Bass, Swordfish, Halibut, Cod, Grouper, etc)
Does swordfish count? it's mostly white.

You're the first seafood connoisseur I've heard say otherwise. Perhaps I've gotta find a good one.

 

I love swordfish. Makes a phenomenal steak and tacos.

I like the idea of grouping together the white fish but catfish would still need it's own category, it's an entirely separate thing

 

It’s almost like there needs to be a best whitefish prequel poll to join salmon as the fish representatives in the seafood poll

 

I hope we list it in the worst seafood poll.

Maybe we need a best seafood (excluding fish) and then a best fish poll?
